Packaging EPR deadlines by state
Six states run packaging EPR programs through Circular Action Alliance. Facts last checked October 31, 2026.
The short answer
All six states’ 2026 producer reports were due to CAA on May 31, 2026. Oregon and Colorado annual reports on 2026 data are due by May 31, 2027. California adds source-reduction reports, and from January 1, 2027 covered producers must participate in an approved plan to keep selling there. Washington, Minnesota and Maryland use simplified reports for now.

May 31, 2027 is Memorial Day, so check CAA’s Producer Portal for the exact due date. Maine has a packaging EPR law but no stewardship organization yet, so we monitor it.
